H5 series Shinkansen Hayabusa

The E5 series was developed to operate at a maximum speed of 320km / h on the Tohoku Shinkansen, and started commercial operation on March 5, 2011.

With the advent of the E5 series, the fastest delivery type "Hayabusa" has been newly set.

In 2011, when the operation started, the maximum speed was 300km / h, and from 2013, the maximum speed was raised to 320km / h, which is the fastest on the domestic Shinkansen.

It is also the first Gran Class vehicle to have more equipment than a green car.
